Tom Wurtz

Married for thirty-six years, three daughters, twin granddaughters.

Graduate of Northern Kentucky University – Business Degree (I earned a solid GPA of 2.55. It’s not bragging if you’ve actually done it!)

1978-2008: President and Chief Operating Officer of The Sheakley Group of Companies headquartered in Cincinnati. Sheakley offers workers’ compensation and unemployment tax control services. I was the eleventh employee hired in 1978 and eventually became President and Chief Operating Officer. The Sheakley Group’s revenues grew from $500,000 to $70 million and created over 600 jobs.

39 Years of Leadership & Profit Experience.

Built 15 Diverse Divisions from $500,000 to $70 Million.

Generated 25% – 50% Operating Profits.

Founded Tom Wurtz Consulting in 2008. My mission is to teach executives how to redesign their company’s playbooks and achieve the Noble Pursuit of Profits.

Founder of the Eagle Leadership Academy. ELA is a skill-based development program designed to produce America’s next generation of results-based leaders.
